Facilitation & Speaking

Bring Held by the Village to your community.

Hire Kerry to facilitate a transformative experience, for the mothers you serve, or the birth workers you train.

I travel to bring two things to your location, your organization, or your community: a homecoming for mothers, and a leadership training for birth workers. You bring the people. I bring the container, the curriculum, and 20+ years of knowing exactly how to hold a room of women ready to change.

Whether you're a retreat center, a doula collective, a yoga studio, a women's organization, or an individual host pulling together your own gathering, if you want this experience for your people, I'll come facilitate it.

Option One
The Homecoming Experience
For mothers ready to come home to themselves, outside the role of motherhood.

This is a facilitated experience for women who've spent years being someone's everything and are asking: who am I outside of this role?

Not a spa day. Not a "self-care" add-on. A real, guided conversation, the kind most women never get permission to have, where mothers reconnect with the parts of themselves that motherhood didn't erase. It just buried them.

What I Bring
  • A facilitated container built specifically for mothers, not generic "women's circle" content
  • Direct, grounded conversation prompts. No spiritual bypassing, no performative vulnerability
  • A format that scales from an afternoon session to a full multi-day retreat
Good fits: retreat centers building out their women's programming, yoga studios wanting to offer something deeper than a workshop, women's organizations, churches or community groups, or an individual host gathering her own circle of moms.
You Handle
The space, the people, the logistics of your event.
I Handle
The facilitation, and if it's useful, I can layer in Pilates-based movement to open or close a session.
Option Two
The Village Leadership Experience
For organizations who want to train birth workers to lead in-person community.

The Village Leadership Training is my full 8-module curriculum that trains doulas, lactation consultants, postpartum caregivers, and birth workers to lead their own in-person mother circles. I'll bring the entire training to your location, as a single intensive workshop or a full multi-day retreat, so your community of practitioners walks away certified, confident, and ready to lead.

We're not just training birth workers. We're training culture-makers, because every mother who locks into real support in her first year changes what motherhood looks like for everyone around her.
What I Bring
  • The complete Village Leadership curriculum, delivered live
  • Training designed by a Waldorf-certified early childhood educator with 12 years in the classroom, built on Waldorf, Lifeways, and RIE frameworks
  • A leadership model that turns solo practitioners into community leaders, and gives your organization a bench of trained facilitators
Good fits: doula collectives, birth worker associations, midwifery practices, postpartum agencies, or any organization that wants to grow its people into leaders, not just certify them and send them home.
You Handle
Gathering your practitioners and the venue.
I Handle
The entire training experience, start to finish.

Pilates

I'm a certified Pilates instructor with a specialty in postpartum bodies. If it's a fit for your retreat or training, a morning movement session, a closing practice, I'm glad to weave it in. It's not the main event, but it's there if you want it.

Four steps, no mystery.

1

Reach out with a little about your community and what you're envisioning.

2

We talk. I'll ask about your people, your goals, your space, and your timeline.

3

I send a proposal. Format, length, and rate based on what you need.

4

You host, I facilitate. I travel to you and bring the experience to life.

Currently facilitating in Sonoma County, Nosara (Costa Rica), Pagosa Springs (Colorado), and open to other locations. If your community is somewhere else, ask.
⚑ Internal note: rate and booking link pending Kerry's market research.

Kerry is the founder of Held by the Village, a movement rebuilding in-person community support for mothers and the birth workers who serve them. With 20+ years as a postpartum doula, Waldorf early childhood educator, and maternal mental health advocate, she has spent her career doing one thing: making sure no mother has to do this alone.

You bring the people. I'll bring the room.

Tell me about your community and what you're envisioning. We'll go from there.
